The ever popular girl’s weekends away have another option! Tamborine Cooking School comes to you. Instead of coming to the cooking school and having the worry of a driver and navigating the mountain roads in the dark, Terri comes to your house with all the equipment and food.
We take about an hour to prepare the 6 delicious courses then you sit down with your wine on the terrace overlooking your view and the dishes are served to you. No washing up or cleaning to be done!
Choose from Asian (eg, spring rolls, satay sticks, Thai salad, fish cakes, dim sims, mango pudding), Spanish (eg, filled poquillo peppers, meat balls in mojo picon sauce, prosciutto and mushroom cherve kebabs, grilled marinaded prawns, chorizo salad, Pedro xeminez chocolate tart), Moroccan (eg, tagine, cous cous salad, kataffi wrapped prawns, date and nut filo’s, rosewater dessert) or Italian cuisine (eg, antipasti bruschetta, gorgonzola filled pears, fried polenta, mushroom ragout, chicken saltimbocca, tiramisu) Or you may have something else you would like to learn to cook.
The produce is sourced fresh from the garden at the cooking school or the local producers and SE Qld, organic where possible.
Some of the houses that have held classes are Cloud 9, Skyhouse, ido house. Every house is suitable for a class as we bring more prep tables and equipment.
