Terri Taylor is a professional French trained chef and loves nothing better than sharing her experience with tips and tricks so you too can produce truly delicious results.
It’s not all work though! There is plenty of time for a leisurely lunch so you can taste all the delights that you helped prepare. Bon Apetit!
About the School
Tamborine Cooking School is located amongst 2 acres of gardens on the Western Escarpment overlooking the Scenic Rim on Mt Tamborine.
Tamborine has a wealth of fresh, quality local produce used in the calsses. Lots of samples and tastings of seasonal olives, macadamia, dukka and cheeses can be enjoyed. There is a lot more to Tamborine than our famous rhubarb and avocadoes!
The menus use fresh seasonal produce, cooked in traditional ways but with a modern,healthy twist. many of the vegetables herbs and fruits are grown organically right here at Tamborine Cooking School.
Each lesson will include:
- morning tea with local coffee on arrival,
- tastings of local products,
- information on where to find produce in the area,
- printed recipes
You will learn knife skills and be able to ask questions and learn the tricks of the trade including some secret ingredients which will transform your cooking.
Take time to relax and stroll through the gardens a browse a cook book from our culinary library.
Our classes are ideal as a day out for lunch with new friends. Just book for 1 or groups up to 24. You’ll love the garden setting and relaxed pace.
We are a picturesque 40 minute drive from the heart of the Gold Coast.
